Neighbors Organizing for Power and Equality

NOPE Meetings

Our virtual meetings are our signature events. Lively and well-run, they provide political insight and first-hand information about battleground states, candidates, grassroots organizing, strategic giving and volunteering. Attendees are given an opportunity to donate directly to featured candidates and groups.

 November 12 Meeting Recap

Lead speaker Lauren Groh-Wargo, CEO of Fair Fight Action, gave us a feisty and persuasive call to win the 2026 midterms. She held out hope that Dems who stay on message can win. And she made a strong case that winning is essential to protect voting rights from threats posed by MAGA and a pending Supreme Court case.

We also enjoyed a quick visit to celebrate our successes with Virginia Delegates-Elect Kimberly Pope-Adams and Jessica Anderson, two of the Virginia candidates we supported.

We rounded off the evening by introducing our four new grassroots allies from the battleground states of Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. As Lauren Groh-Wargo told us, we need groups like these to succeed to inform underserved communities about the threats to voting rights and to turn out the vote. Don’t wait — support them today here.
