NOPE Meetings

Our virtual meetings are our signature events. Lively and well-run, they provide political insight and first-hand information about battleground states, candidates, grassroots organizing, strategic giving and volunteering. Attendees are given an opportunity to donate directly to featured candidates and groups.

NEXT MEETING: JUNE 24, 5:30 PM EDT

With MAGA in control of the federal government, Democrats need state government wins in Virginia to preserve rights and liberties and to build momentum for the midterms in 2026. NOPE has supported candidates in every Virginia state election since 2017, and we are going all-in again for 2025.

The races will be close. Democrats hold a one-seat majority in Virginia’s House. Although US Representative Abigail Spanberger is sure to wage a strong campaign for Governor, success is by no means certain.

Join us by Zoom on Tuesday, June 24 at 5:30 PM EDT to hear from Congresswoman Spanberger, a panel of VA House candidates, and CASA, a grassroots group essential to turning out the vote. There will also be an opportunity to donate. All are welcome – bring a friend! Please note the early start time.
